2011.2.1傍晚又接到學校電話與e-mail通知確定停課，

Due to the severe weather that descended upon the area the past few hours, all District 97 classes and after school activities, including parent-teacher conferences and Hephzibah programming, have been canceled for Wednesday, February 2. In addition, the district’s administration building will be closed.

We recommend you follow the advice of the National Weather Service when it comes to travel during the next couple days, and exercise care and caution when removing snow from your steps, sidewalk and driveway.

Barring any additional inclement weather, we anticipate classes will be back in session on Thursday, February 3. Please note, though, that Thursday and Friday are early dismissal days for parent-teacher conferences. The elementary schools will dismiss at 11 a.m. and the middle schools will dismiss at noon.

We encourage you to continue monitoring e-mail, the district’s family of Web sites and the local media for updates about the weather and its impact on district operations.

今天早上一早就接到師姑的電話交代我今天開車一定要非常小心且慢，中午我還是待不住家裡跑到Jewel-Osco逛了一下買個馬鈴薯，因為前天的咖哩中的都融了，出門時的車況真的都還好，但兩點開始雪是開始狂下（真的是狂下），回到停車場還得走回公寓兩分鐘，回去途中小妞的臉上全是雪，好可憐，近了公寓她還全身抖了兩分，真的風大會很冷。
